After various and sundry delays, there are now two separate versions of
Netscape 4.61 in infoagents for Linux, one for i386_linux2 and one for
i386_linux3. I have not tested either as of this writing.
The linux platforms in infoagents have been rearranged. Assuming I haven't
dropped a comma somewhere, you should not notice. If you do, it means
I have broken a symlink somewhere.
In brief, anything that was
/mit/infoagents/arch/i386_linuxN/
is now actually stored in
/mit/infoagents/arch/linux/i386_linuxN/
with a symlink to mimic the former path. This rearrangement was
necessary/desirable because of the way infoagents is divided among several
AFS allocations. (I wanted all the linuxes to be in the same chunk of
space.)
The Linux "split" is not complete. Almost everything except Netscape 4.61
in linux3 is a symlink to linux2. linux1 is also a symlink to linux2. I
wanted to get a working batch of 4.61's up in a hurry; I'm still working
out how much of the linux2 stuff actually "belongs" there. I suspect most
of it does.
All of this will become available after propagation tonight.
