Do we really want to install netscape...?
In my opinion, yes. This is not meant as a reference to the Microsoft
trial, but I really believe a web browser has become an essential
piece of system software. For example, there is almost certainly some
documentation in the RedHat distribution in html format, and someone
should not have to have a network connection to view files on the
local disk. Besides that, it just seems like a reasonable assumption
these days that installing an operating system means installing a web
browser. (I think Irix comes with netscape in /usr/bin. And that's
50% of the Athena supported platforms. :-)
