We want to have local printer support available
and easy to set up using printtool. For this,
the local lpr stuff is possibly crucial.
I could be wrong, but it's worth testing.

Aieee! Please, please, please don't install kaffe, java, or guavac
by default. People can use Java out of the Java locker. I spent
many hours last Spring helping people remove those packages from
their Linux systems as they randomly interferred with stuff
in the Java locker and made it a huge pain for the 6.170 courseware
to work properly...
