Red Hat recently issued more updates for 4.2; the latest batch
upgrades XFree86 to 3.3.3 (which has a bunch of bugfixes and new
features) and fixes a small hole in their ftp client. As a reminder,
you can update your system by attaching the linux locker and running

	/mit/linux/redhat/redhat-4.2/i386/updates/update.pl

as root. A couple of warnings: I have heard reports that the update
script may sometimes clobber configuration files you've changed and
may lose if you're low on disk space.

Also: if you're going home the holidays, I would recommend turning
your Linux box off if you don't need it running; there are almost
certainly going to be a bunch of idle kids who think it would be fun
to try to break into machines at MIT.
