	1) this command will not work (there are no packages in
/mit/linux/packages, they are in /mit/linux/packages/XXX/)
	2) You don't want to do this, because it will try to install
both athena-* and srvd-athena-* packages, which conflict.
	3) there are conflicts between some Athena packages and some
standard packages, which the Linux-Athena installation takes care of.

The instructions should be changed so that the user who wants to layer
Linux-Athena on top of a standard RedHat installation should go into
the proper directory and install the appropriate packages by hand.

In the future I would like to see a better way of doing it, either via
a script of something like "update_ws".  But for now they get to
install packages by hand.  Note, they can probably just install afs
and then install athena-*.rpm.
