telnetd sources?

Im trying to customize my telnetd a little more so that I can have more control over it and what it does when particular people log in. If I can do this without having to hack the code (ie through scripts or something) could someone please give me a pointer to what and where? If this isn't possible from within telnetd, cCan someone tell me where I can get the sources for telnetd (or inetd if that's an entire package that I will need to mess with). Im asking because Im figuring that its an athena package since telnetd is kerberized, and I couldn't find the sources anywhere.
