So, I'm in Santa Barbara this week, but I'll be back next week and
I'll have a LOT of time on my hands. I'd like to dedicate a lot of
that time to working on RedHat-Athena 5.1. But, I need to know what
needs to be done so that I can work effectively towards a release.
So, could you come up with a comprehensive list of everything that
still needs to be done and put it in a file in /mit/linux/devel?
This list should include:
Athena modules still needing porting/testing
Build-tree work
RPM Packaging work
Installation process work
Documentation work
I'd be happy to work off this list when I return.
Thanks!

PS: As much as I would have liked to do an Athena-like install/update
for this release, I think it is VITAL to have 5.1 ready ASAP so frosh
and others can use it, without having to install 4.2. We can work on
a real Athena install/update during the year.
PPS: As much as I would have liked PAM, I think timing is more
important. We should release what we have.
