Some of the RPM files are bad. The symptom is that during installation,
when one of these files in reached, your system reboots. It appears that
most of the recently modified files fall into this category. Try
bind-4.9.7-0.i386.rpm for an example. When using rpm (on a working
system) to query these packages you get: "Data type 9 not supported." My
guess is that someone built packages using the RedHat 5.X version of RPM
which may not be compatible with 4.2 systems.
