When you installed the new afs package, /usr/vice/cache became a
directory.  (It used to be a symlink to /var/vice/cache, which was a
mountpoint.)   Consequently, cj's root partition filled up today,
making it lose.  I wiped out /usr/vice/cache and replaced it with a
symlink; all should finally be well now. :-)

BTW, why not just make /usr/vice/cache a mountpoint in the first
place?
