I combined cutter-john's three small extra partitions(*) and reduced
the swap space from 128M to 96M (which is still gross overkill) to
make a partition large enough to install Red Hat, and installed it.
So, if anyone wants to see what Red Hat looks like, just reboot
cutter, hold the control key, and enter "redhat" at the lilo: prompt.
Installation notes: I installed just about everything. I decided not
to install some particularly uninteresting packages. (All the
packages defaulted to "install". I turned off a few that caught my
eye.)
Configuration notes: I did absolutely no work as far as Athena-izing
it. This means that I have absolutely no objections if anyone wants
to re-install it (with a sensible list of packages.) I won't lose any
work.
There are three floppies (in the floppy disk case near lola) labeled
Red Hat Boot, Ramdisk I, and Ramdisk II. The boot floppy has cutter's
kernel and network and X configuration information. These could be
useful for re-installing.
My impression: It looks ok.
When cutter is running Slackware, the Red Hat partition is mounted
under /redhat. When it's running Red Hat, the Slackware partition is
mounted under /slackware.
Have a nice day.

(*) The three extra partitions: One was intended to be used for
testing Linux distributions like Red Hat, but was much too small for
this purpose. One was intended as a NetBSD test partition, which is
probably less important now that we have planet-zorp, but can be
recreated if necessary. One was intended for MS-DOS, which is on
Keesh.
