Subject: printer installation

hello everyone,
I am trying to install my epson laser printer which emulates HP
Jaserjet III printer and I step by step followed Printing.HOWTO.
But when I try to print something, I get a 'Printer queue is
disabled' message. I use 'lpc up' and 'lpc enable' commands and get
response that the printer is enabled but then again when I spool
something I get the same error message.
Does anyone have any idea?
