At the University of Florida we've been running zephyr without
Kerberos for at least a year now. Since I built it at the CIS
department it has since been adopted at Engineering Support and
the Mathematics department. We currently have these three domains
interoperating without too many problems. With the guidance of
Engineering Support I expect it will spread to other departments
on campus.

Engineering Support has had a few problems, maybe Brad can tell
us about it <bcs@eng.ufl.edu>. I am the current contact for both
CIS and Mathematics <thoth@manatee.cis.ufl.edu>.

I don't recall having too many problems with the realm stuff. I
just compiled in a realm name that was the same as the domain
name.

I have built Kerberos in the past and Brad and his colleagues
are wrestling with it right now. The main reason we haven't
adopted it is its appalling lack of documentation and our lack of
OS source.
