Hi,

I have no experience with Outlook Express at all.

I would like to save a users Outlook Express mail, then reformat his
drive, reinstall Windows and Outlook Express, and restore his mail so that
he can read it.

I have tried 'Export', but that didn't appear to do anything... I expected
it to produce a file that I could move off the machine. It appeared to
produce a 'Microsoft Outlook' file, but I couldn't find it... I couldn't
even specify where the file should go.

I copied one of the .dbx mail files to another machine, and was
unsuccessful in reading it with Outlook Express on the target machine.

The user's Outlook Express .dbx files are on a FAT drive on Windows NT4.0,
and I will be moving them to a NTFS drive on Windows 2000.

Any hints would be greatly appreciated!

				Dave
