Hi! I have a Tether account, and had been using an old
version of Eudora (downloaded from the MIT Web last winter)
to keep in touch with myself between work and home. My
home computer was completely refigured 2 months ago(long
story)with the result that I do not currently have Eudora
installed at home. Using my husband's Netscape access, I
went to the MIT Eudora web page to try to download - well,
ideally Eudora v3.0 - but at this point I'll settle for
anything!
The Eudora Web page was last updated in April '97, and says
that v3 is not yet supported for the PC. No clue as to
whether it is now supported! It also says that I have to
download version 2 again before upgrading to v3 -- but the
links I click to try to download, or even get info on the
v2 Eudora, come up with notes telling me those pages are
"not found." And the links for v3 keep bringing me back to
the links that have already proven useless!
So how do I get Eudora back on my home computer? Or shall I
give up, and cancel my Tether account, which is currently
draining $15/month from my pay check (I'm MIT staff)for
nothing?
