We are about to set up a new P3-600 server for our
research group. Has anyone tried Win 2000 Release
Candidate 1?
We will be running the machine as a web server for
our group with access from outside for people to
see our work. We will probably want to run SQL
server, some demo e-commerce type stuff, Prolog,
Java servlets, etc.
Hopefully the machine will be reliable, but we can
cope with some level of effort to keep things going
as long as it doesn't swamp the research.
