did you enter the domain name under the control panel, network, client for
ms networks, and check the logon to nt domain.
here are the steps:
right click on network neighborhood, select properties, configuration tap,
client for microsoft networks properties, check the log on to NT domain, and
enter the domain name. under the identification tap, make sure that the
computer name is consistent with the hostname in the DC.
