Nancy, Yikes! It sounds like the file sharing is the only problem you now
have (apart from the mouse)? Perhaps the NT Server lost track of what
volumes it was sharing over MacFileSharing. I would use the MacFile menu
from Winfile (or from Server Manager) to check the volumes being shared.
If it thinks the volume is being shared, I'd remove it, then create the
volume again.
