Just a little more information.  From what I understand USB is IRQless.  It
does not require IRQs, which is one of the advantages.

Unfortunately, Al is right: USB and NT 4.0 just don't mix.  I have heard
some rumors about USB mice and getting specific drivers from mother board
manufactures, but I haven't verified that.  Microsoft does not have any
plans to make USB supported under NT 4.0, so waiting for SP6 will not be
the answer.  Windows 2000 will fully support USB when it ships and Windows
98 does today.
