Hi, the winnt pages look pretty good, but what I would really like to see
is a listing of all the "blue screen of death" STOP codes, what they
mean, and how to interpret them, or a pointer to this information if it
exists anywhere. I've got an HP Vectra P75 with 16M RAM that crashes
randomly anywhere from 2-6 times per day. Really annoying when I'm
supposed to be supporting and developing on NT for our clients. I am
lobbying for a faster machine with more memory (REQUIRED, in my opinion,
and this machine isn't even the MIT recommended minimum), but since I'm
stuck with it for the moment I'd like to figure out what's wrong with
this one until I can get a new one.
Are there any good NT diagnostic tools that will test memory, hardware,
configurations, etc? I havn't found any of those either, and many (but
not all) of the crashes are PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA which sounds like
a memory problem to me.
Thanks in advance.
