Hi,

For those interested in installing SR-1 and SR-2 patches for Office 97. I
found the following information in the Microsoft Office Resource Kit online
at http://microsoft.com/office/ork/004/004.htm#dex42

You have to have SR-1 installed first before you can enjoy the Y2K benefits
of SR-2.

The Office 97 Service Release 1 (SR=AD1) is an update to Office 97 suites an=
d
applications. Office 97 SR=AD1 contains all of Office 97 for Windows plus a
number of enhancements, including the new Word 6.0/95 Binary Converter for
Word 97.=20
Office 97 SR=AD1 is distributed by Microsoft in two configurations:=20
SR=AD1 Enterprise Update, available on CD or floppy disks =20
SR=AD1 patch, available on the World Wide Web, on CD, or on floppy disks=20

In this scenario Deploy this configuration of SR-1=20
Office 97 not yet installed SR=AD1
Enterprise Update =20

Office 97 running from network servers SR=AD1 Enterprise Update=

Office 97 installed locally, but Outlook 97 SR=AD1 Patch
             not installed =20
            =20
Outlook 97 installed locally with SR=AD1 Patch
Office 97 instead of with Exchange
             Server 5.0 =20
           =20

                =20
There is more information on this page but I think I found the answer to my
question. It looks like I have to purchase the Enterprise Update CD.
