Hi there.
Mushroom season should be in full swing out there, and while
fungi aren't exactly vegetables ( scientifically speaking ),
they are definately vegetarian.
Does anyone know where one can learn how to pick wild
mushrooms?
I remember doing it as a child with my father and a greek man,
who knew mushrooms. I have a book, though I'm a little skittish
about going and picking without a little experience.
If you think eating meat is bad... try the wrong mushroom ;)

On the same line of conversation, does anyone know how to cook
Portabellas. Last time I tried, I wanted to cook them with rice.
They turned the whole rice dish a nasty shade of grey. It
tasted fine, but try telling that to a group of guests.
