On Sunday morning, May 19, from 11 AM to 1 AM,
the Coaltion to Abolish the Fur Trade (CAFT)
will do an anti-fur demonstration in Boston.
Federated Department Stores is the parent company
of Macy's (which purchased Jordan Marsh, which has
since changed its name to Macy's, even in the downtown
store that was its former headquarters).
This is a national boycott of all Federated Department stores,
which includes Goldmans (a southern chain), Macy's (New York),
Jordan Marsh (New England - now they're all Macy's),
Bullock's (West Coast), and Dayton's (Midwest).
Optional civil disobedience will be planned for this day.
Those planning to participate should prepare to be arrested,
but CD is optional and will not be expected.
Supporters can carry signs and chant in support of the overall protest.
