Carol Adams is a renowned feminist and animal rights activist. Her book,
"The Sexual Politics of Meat" compared the abuse and objectification of
animals to that of women. I recently heard her speak at the Alliance
animal rights conference in Washington DC this past June. She is
currently working on a new book, and is seeking experiences of
vegetarians and vegans in a world full of meat eaters. I recently asked
her if she would mind my publicizing her search, and she asked me to post
the following:
"For a book I am writing called _Living Among Meat Eaters_, I would
like to hear stories from vegetarians and vegans about their
experiences living among meat eaters. What is your most pressing
issue in living among meat eaters? What was your worst experience
interacting with meat eaters? What resulted from it?
How did you feel? Do you have anecdotes from interacting with meat
eaters that you would like to share? What is your most problematic
issue in terms of dining with meat eaters? What survival tips can
you offer other vegetarians and vegans?
Please contact me at caroladams@aol.com or at 814 Grinnell Drive,
Richardson, Texas 75081."
