Hi all,
Harvard is having several activities this week and next for Animal
Protection Week. I would love to go to some of them.
Thursday, April 20: Judith Reitman, author of _Stolen for Profit,_ will
speak at Phillips Brooks House, 7 p.m.
Friday, April 21: Melissa Feldman, director of the Living Earth Project,
will give a talk on factory farming and vegetarianism
entitled "Give Peas a Chance". In the Shephard Room,
3-4 p.m. Free vegetarian snacks will be available after
the talk.
Sunday, April 23: Movie: "The Animals' Film"
Science Center, 7 p.m.
Monday, April 24: A special vegetarian meal will be served in the dining
halls and members of the Harvard Animal Protection
Committee will be tabling
Tuesday, April 25: Holly Cheever, DVM
"Philosophical and Scientific Concerns
with Animal Experimentation"
Phillips Brooks House, Shephard Room
2:30-3:30 p.m.
