Explore how a vegetarian style of eating can help you achieve your helath
goals. Cutting back on meat can help in lowering blood pressure, losing
weight, reducing cholesterol, the risks of osteoporosis, heart disease and
even some forms of cancer. This four-part series is for those who want to
eat less meat or ease into a vegetarian diet. Learn how to make the
transition safely and wisely. Learn what meat alternatives are available,
discover great-tasting, economical, simple-to-prepare meals. Sessions will
include cooking demonstrations and food sampling. Taught by a registered
dietitian who is also a vegetarian.
Led by: Tiana Celesia, R.D.
