c. mid-summer, i referred a poster looking for newsgroup
sources of vsg-like information to archives maintained
by vsg subscriber-at-mit andy rothstein <adrothst>, which
include collected postings from rec.food.recipies, and
probably, knowing andy, are well updated.
i'm sure if you drop him a note he'll tell you more,
and maybe he'll post his occasional list of pointers here.
additionally, a quick look at newsgroups suggests the following
in the ol' alt.food hierarchy: .recipies, .restaurants,
.sourdough, .historic, .org.food-not-bombs (where .recipies
contains relevant stuff andy archives).
meanwhile there's alt.food, ba and ne .food, where every-
once-in-a-while there's relevance.
and uhm, don't forget to faithfully read sci.med.nutrition!
i've been a vegetarian for 27+ years and can vouch for the
concept of solid nutrition behind one's dietary reasoning being
of utmost importance (or else you can't "get away with"
"otherwise abusing" yourself :-)).
(send flames to your parents on this last topic if appropriate)
