postponing of cooking date

Wow! Everyone must be pretty busy, since I only got one definite
"yes" to cooking tomorrow. I think we should wait 'til more people can
come, maybe give it at least a week's warning. So, look for another posted
date in a couple weeks. Thanks to people who responded to the message. :)
I will go ahead and post my recipe, though. Remember, the vsg-recipe list
is up and running (as well as vsg-dine and vsg-announce), and you can add
yourself to any of these lists by typing:

blanche -a (your username) (list-name)

e.g.

blanche -a elsiedee vsg-announce

Next Monday, Jan. 23, we are going out to lunch! If you are interested in
going somewhere for veg food, then send email. I was thinking of Masao's
in Porter Square, but Wendy noted that it was a macrobiotic place, not
strictly vegetarian, so it's up for discussion! I like this little place in
Chinatown on the second floor of a building near the Beach St. parking garage
(sounds glamorous, doesn't it?) kind of tucked away...there are about 6 little
Chinese/Thai/what have you eateries there, and they have really good food for
**cheap**! But, the environment is not totally meat-free, so use your judgment.
Last time we went to Buddha's Delight, which is just down the street, and we
took the time to look around Chinatown a bit and I pointed out the eatery.
Ideas, ideas!

Then Friday, Jan. 27, we're gonna try to make it to the Vegetarian Resource
Center in Central Sq. More on that to come.

OK, that's all for now!

P.S. Please do add yourself to vsg-announce if nothing else, because that
way the list can be used for its purpose. Plus, the athena mailing system
is smart and you won't get duplicate messages from both vsg and vsg-announce.
One less thing to worry about. :)
