Hi everyone - I've been on the veg list for ages, but am not an active
member. I'm emailing to ask if you'd like to have a booth for SAVE's
Earth Week celebrations this early May. We're intending to have the
big white tent in Kresge oval with tables inside for groups that help
the environment in different ways (e.g. bike repairs, book exchange,
plants). If VEG is interested, you'd be welcome to have a table to
give out any food or information as you'd like. It might help the
group get publicity since there will be many people coming for the
other activities.
We haven't set a firm date on the event because our normal Earth Day
celebration week conflicts with Spring Weekend this time. However, I
though I'd let you know in advance and let you know when we have a
date. Please email save-request@mit.edu if you're interested.
