For all hungry college dorm dwellers and future dorm dwellers I
woul have to agree that a rice cooker is invaluable. If you are eating at
the dining hall of your dorm you are probably going to get bored or are
going to find it difficult to get enough vegan food. I ate vegan at my
dining hall last semester and what really helped me get through it was
the knowledge that i had that ricecooker up in my room. I could make rice
and lentils or those pilafs that you buy in boxes. It saved me. I never
even thought to cook vegetables in the thing or anything else but I
suppose you could cook alomost anything that just needs boiling water to
cook.
Buy an inexpensive rice cooker for your college dorm room!
They are wonderful!
