A lot of things are made with lard.  Food packagers can't get enough of
the stuff.  It's like the duct tape of the industry; whenever they get
bored with a particular process, they throw some lard in.  There's
probably lard in your orange juice.  Why not?  You can get it for about
three cents a ton.

I've given up worrying about trace ingredients.  I'm convinced that
Progresso Lentil soup has meat products in it, though they're not
listed and the label says "No Cholesterol."  (Of course, it's probably
legal to say "No Cholestorol" if the cholesterol content is less than,
say, 2% by weight.)  Anyone else feel the same way?  You get a nose for
these things after being a vegetarian for a few years.
