The first time I typed my username to xlogin, I typed "dk" followed
immediately by a return, so I had to get past the password prompt to
get another chance to type my username, correctly this time. I didn't
type the correct password, of course, since there isn't a user "dk".
I was surprised to find that one letter missing from my username
generated all this syslog traffic on the workstation, and on the
syslogger:

------------

Aug 1 22:54:30 tisiphone xlogin: User dk is not in password file, and /etc/nocreate found.
