I'm trying to track down a weird gnome-settings-daemon problem.
Using -workstation, could someone besides me try the following:

- create a local account with the same name as your Athena username
and a local homedir, and set a local password.
- add that local account to all the local admin type groups (I'm not
sure if this is relevant, but I'd like to not change too many
parameters in replicating this)
- Log in to your local account with your local password
- Do stuff
- Log out
- Log in to your local account with your Kerberos password.
- See that gnome-settings-daemon isn't running, so your desktop looks
like stock gnome (f-u-s-a looks weird, and the "Help" icon in the
panel is a life preserver instead of a question mark)
- Run gnome-settings-daemon by hand and see that your desktop suddenly
looks normal again.

If this is only happening to me, I'll happily ignore it, but if not, I
want to at least document it.

-Jon
