Hello,
I've noticed a rather strange bug on some debathena beta workstation
machines located around campus that I thought you should be aware of.
Typing "logout" at a command prompt reboots the computer instead of just
logging me out. The Ubuntu "unloading scrollbar" comes up, then the
computer reboots, and eventually it returns to the standard login
screen. Although this does **eventually** return me to the standard
login screen, I'm sure this isn't the desired behavior!
This happened to me several times, most recently on m12-182-1.mit.edu
in the building 12 Athena cluster.
Thanks,
Steve Levine
P.S. Here's a low-priority idea I had: instead of displaying the
standard Ubuntu logo upon start up and shutdown, it would be pretty neat
to instead display the Debathena logo instead.
