I currently have my .dmrc specifying "GNOME", because I intentionally want
GNOME/Metacity and not ratpoison as my window manager on Debathena, at
least until I work out some of the differences between Athena 9 and 10
with my dotfiles.

We could perhaps have debathena-gdm-config edit
/usr/share/gdm/BuiltInSessions/default.desktop to rename "Run Xclient
script" to "Athena defaults and dotfiles" or "Use Athena customizations"
or something. For me, Xclient isn't GNOME...
