I accept that we don't have a definitive panic reproduction recipe.
I repeated the steps I followed last time that seemed to cause one of
the two panic's I experienced:
ssh to tokata from home
forget I was logged in.
go to work log in, do work, log out.
return home
do stuff
(uh oh! Maybe I was supposed to renew here, and I didn't do that this
time.)
logout
log back in, and have system hang in a panic at "running startup
activities".
Following the above sequence of steps DID NOT panic tokata.
Alas, I'm off for the weekend so I can't retry the test with a 'renew'
step
until like monday.
If someone has a 9.4.11 system I could retry this sequence of steps
over a day (someone SHOULD) and see if it's a reliable repetition case.
