Thanks for the bug report.
This is a known problem in the current 9.4 beta
on Sun, caused by our using the display name
instead of a terminal as the device in the utmp
record. I committed a patch recently which will
fix this, by using the console terminal name in
the utmp record on Solaris (while continuing to
use the display name on Linux).
