I can login as myself to my RT, but not the vaxen. (I use the
standard dot files.) On the vaxen (mkserv stand/ops) the file
/usr/athena/session_gate doesn't exist, so the xsession exits as soon
as it's done with the session initialization. There are other files
missing from /usr/athena. They seem to all be symlinked from:
/site/server/usr/athena
to the non-existant directory:
/srvd/site/usr/athena
which presumably should have been:
/srvd/usr/athena
(or perhaps some of the files should be local)
Here is the list of the unfortunate files that are condemned to exile,
lost in the depths of the srvd where servers cannot find them:
(BTW, isn't 2020 supposed to be off the packs?)
