/usr/athena/lib/init was copied to the local disk (into
/site/server/usr/athena/lib/init) on my VS2000, but not on the VS2 or
the RT. I presume this is because the VS2 and RT went directly from
6.4R to 7.0C, while the VS2000 went one version at a time.
On the VS2 and RT, not only was the init directory not local, but
attaching the packs didn't help, because the link is pointing to the
wrong place:
tisiphone% ls -lL /usr/athena/lib/init
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root 30 Dec 15 14:42 /usr/athena/lib/init -> /srvd/site/usr/athena/lib/init
tisiphone% ls /srvd/site/usr
lib vice
