Since upgrading my main Linux machine to 9.3, I have noticed that when
xscreensaver activates, it only blanks the screen, instead of running
hacks. I believe the problem is that the Redhat xscreensaver's app
defaults file includes a "mode: blank" setting, while our version of
the file has no mode setting. While we could resolve this by adding a
"mode: random" setting to our app defaults, I'm thinking it might be
better to remove the Redhat xscreensaver package from the release.
