Having seen the 9.2.8 announcement, I ran update_ws on my Linux and
Solaris machines, and got the 9.2.9 update.

dcl (Solaris, mkserv remote):

During the update process, a bunch of messages were spewed out that
looked like:

/usr/lib/getNAME: glGetClipPlane.3gl: No such file or directory

I believe almost all of the names I watched go by were of the form
"gl*.3gl". "pthread_atfork.3thr" and "mvwins_nstr.3xcurses" showed up
at the end of the list; I could've missed some at the beginning.

Perhaps catman or some equivalent is running before the local links
have been updated?

On reboot, I got four messages of the sort:

devfsadm SUNW_port_link: devfsadm_enumerate_char failed
 /pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/ebus@1/se@14.400000:a

Also for ":a,cu", ":b", and ":b,cu".

all-in-one (Linux):

The update process complained:

redhat-9-updates/RPMS/bash-2.05b-20.1.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID db42a60e

During the boot process, it complained it couldn't remove
/var/run/vmware/raeburn, with an "is a directory" error. The
directory is still there, and still populated (one empty directory,
and one with five named pipes).

After rebooting, both systems appear to be running fine.
