I believe there are bugs in DHCP support in 9.2.7 which are fixed in
9.2.9.

You might be able to answer the second part from your memory of the
email client evaluation effort, but if not: Athena went with Evolution
instead of Mozilla because Mozilla does not support Kerberos
authentication or MH support (which we wanted for the transition
period), and had no framework in place to add those things (no SASL
authentication and no support for local mailboxes in any format except
its own).  Evolution already supported Kerberos authentication and
partial MH support.
