Thank you John for alerting us to the problem about vdabort.
I have now run a sanity check of symbolic links on the entire
workstation root (actually, only /bin, /etc, /lib, and /usr), and have
discovered that the following links are incorrect:
/etc/athena/vdabort (should be ->/bin/athena/rvdclient)
/etc/athena/nameserver (shouldn't exist normally)
