Thanks for taking a look at these.
I've created new 9.1 menus and done what I can to fix the errors reported here.
My comments and questions start with --CAPS below:

		--MISSING in 9.1 from /usr/athena/bin, --
		--broken for all platforms
--QUESTION - Is or will this be available somewhere for 9.1?

--THIS was broken for all platforms, for both 9.0 and 9.1
--FIXED for Sun and SGI by setting it to run in a terminal
--Linux reports binary not executable (both 9.0 and 9.1, as above)

--WAS BROKEN FOR ALL PLATFORMS, in both 9.1 and 9.0
--FIXED for Linux by changing command from 'gathrun applix -ss' to 'gathrun applix spreadsheets'
--still broken for other platforms -- need to talk to Alex
		aboutwhy this is so

--PROBLEMS with this one if we want to default to v 6
		  - need to talk to Alex
--FIXED (partially) by setting to open non-java (v 5.1)
		version in a terminal window

--WAS BROKEN FOR all platforms except for Linux on 9.0
-- because it was looking in /usr/bin and 9.0 Linux
is the only flavor that has it there
-- it is not in /usr/bin or in graphics locker for 9.1 Linux
-- it is in the graphics locker for other platforms,
so I changed this to look there
--OUESTION - is there, or will there be, a version of xpaint
		  somewhere in 9.1 Linux?

--THIS IS WORKING properly as set up. Need to ask Alex if
we want to continue popping up a special "No Linux available"
		  window.
