Here's a list of things that seem to have problems running on linux
from the panel and their error messages. I only checked things that
didn't claim not to run under linux and I didn't look at the pages the
menu items point to. Enjoy.
Utilities: Ical- xalf: Failed to launch ical \nchild died: Segmentation fault
(though appears fine from command line)
Time Tracker tool- xalf: error: couldn't find gtt in PATH
(can't find otherwise)
Network/Communication IRC- xalf: Failed to launch Irc \nchild exited: status 1
(whichlocker claims there's a linux version, but
trying to run it says its not executable)
Tm -seems to quit on startup
Math/Plotting
(applix spreadsheet- not for this platform)
splus- doesn't seem to start unless from commandline
Graphics
xpaint- doesn't start- doesn't appear to exist for linux
tgif-Failed to launch Tgif \nchild died: Segmentation fault
(fine from command line)
(print window- don't know, no default printer here)
sdr-Failed to launch Sdr \nchild died: Segmentation fault
(fine from command line)
Editing/Publishing framemaker is not for linux
Audio
xmixer- can't find it
xplaycd- can't find it
