Ken and I spent some time examining this core file.
Dan ran out of stack space, so an assignment into an automatic
variable of a procedure failed.
There is, unfortunately, nothing I can do to fix this, except
perhaps convince Pete Roden to give Dan's workstation 12 meg of memory
