Hi,

In trying to get gnumeric configured to run on Linux machines, I ran into a
number of issues with the gnome help system-

In trying to look up help for one the the several gnome apps installed in
the 9.1 release (gnorpm, gtop), I get:

GnomeUI-WARNING **: Could not open help topics file NULL

and the help topics that should be present don't appear in the Help menu.

Setting GNOMEDIR to /usr seems to fix this- however then it launches
Nautilus as viewer, and the help topics appear, but Nautilus doesn't
seem able to render the html- it just displays the html source, in truncated
form. I verified that the html is OK because it displays fine in Netscape;
also when I invoke Nautilus directly on one of the html help pages it
reproduces the problem (html not rendered), indicating that Nautilus isn't
configured to render html properly at the moment.

                                                Alex
