I just 'su -'ed on a 9.0.13 Linux box and noticed that nothing was logged to
the console. Indeed /etc/syslog.conf and /etc/syslog.conf.athena don't log
anything to /dev/console. This was fixed in the source tree on 7/23, but
seems not to have propagated.
