Most likely your ~/.xscreensaver file contains an entry for the now-obsolete
program (it looks like xroger was removed between the xscreensaver versions
used in 8.4 and 9.0). xroger is not in the built-in list of hacks, or in
the app-defaults file. On the brighter side, I believe only users who have
run xss-demo will have had ~/.xscreensaver created for them.
