I've seen this twice, once on an 8-bit Ultra5 and once on a Blade, using
different accounts. From Netscape, followed a link to a dvi file,
got a series of "Netscape: subprocess diagnostic" dialogs (kpathsea,
mktexp, and xdvi.bin, about font stuff and missing PS files), navigated
around a bit in xdvi and then sawfish crashed.

~factest/Public/core.sawfish has a core file (from looking at the SIPB
Inessential LaTeX file, if that's useful). This doesn't seem to be
consistently reproducible, but so far I haven't seen it when running
xdvi directly, or on other platforms.
