I have a Sparcstartion 5 (b52.mit.edu)

The one major (to me) bug I encountered was with the new colors used for
the SawfFish Window Manager, my color aliceblue failed to work and made my
zephyrs practically unreadable. I do not know if this is a bug in the
release, a limit of resources on my machine that are over taxed by having
the new GUI or something else. Even with customizations (and my background
image) ignored, I am not able to make use of aliceblue. If it is just one
color not a big deal, but I imagine that this will happen for other colors
as well.
Error: Warning: Cannot allocate colormap entry for "aliceblue"

Feedback about the new interface that may be encountered by others too.

I like the look of it.

I was really disappointed that the active window did not follow with the
mouse cursor. This is one of the things I have loved about Athena and have
at times hacked my Windows machine to do the same.

The xss-button changed to be a flame over what looks like a monitor and
that started me from the expected This was unexpected and I am not sure
the implication of burning computers, though this is probably out of our
control.

A window kept popping up when I left the cursor on a window edge or bar
that was annoying. With 4 xterms in my customization, this happened a lot.

The extra processes running (plus the changed interface) made me think
initially that my machine had been hacked. sawfish & dustbust (plus rep
and esd) have names that could be related to hacker files.

My zephyrs had title bars which makes them very large and caused thing to
be positioned off the screen near the bottom. For example, my ping
notification is along the bottom, but all that would show is the title bar
for the pings.

It would be nice to be able to have an xload meter in the bar along the
bottom, that may be possible, and I just don't know how.

The mail button opens xmh, when I typically use exmh as my mail reader from
athena (which is very rarely). I imagine this is customizable. I am not
sure that assuming xmh is the mail reader of choice is appropriate. I do
not have any information on this other than my habits.

I have not figured out how to background and foreground windows.

I have switched back to mwm primarily because of the zephyr title bars, the
lack of aliceblue and the active window not following the cursor.

Thanks,
Jonathan
